Bronze situla with handle.
Persian period (The Return to Zion - Early Second Temple Period): 6th-4th century BC
H. 28.9 cm (11 3/8 in.)
Punched at one side, otherwise perfect. Fine green patina.
Sold



The bronze vessel of elongated piriform shape with a rounded boss at the base, and elaborated basket handle attached to the rim with two loops.
