Near Eastern bronze phiale (libation bowl).
Persian period (The Return to Zion - Early Second Temple Period): 6th-4th century BC
H. 3 cm (1 1/8 in.), D. 14.6 cm (5 ¾ in.)
Several holes at the horizontal part. Fine bluish-green patina with beige incrustation.
Sold
The shallow bowl is decorated in repousse, with pine pattern ornament, with a domed projection in the center of the base, encircled by a groove, with a small projection in the center.
