The ibex is standing with its head turned to the right. It is realistically modeled with majestic attitude, with the turning of the head and the expression of the face. The proportions, large head and small limbs, indicate a young animal. The ibex of this type is typical to the wild life of the Land of Israel, and became an icon of its nature.
