Silenus is squatting with his knees against the chest, arms pressed against the sides of the body and clenched fists above the knees. His tail is curled behind his back. The wide face, with large eyes, flat nose and full lips framed by rich hair, moustache and beard, is strained with strong expression. The large pointed ears protruding from the hair at the sides of the head. The figure is very lively and expressive, with fine realistic details, such as the curled toes and wrinkled brow, and fine incised details for the hair and face.
