Roman light green glass amphora.
3rd–4th century AD.
H. 18.3 cm. (7 3/16in.)
Intact. Richly iridescent.

$1,900.



The amphora with piriform body on tubular ring base, long cylindrical neck, and flaring folded rim. Twin ribbed handles applied from shoulder to neck, ending with a fold.
