Pan, the Greek god of shepherds and hunters, is crouching, holding his exaggerated
phallus, which forms the lamp nozzle and his tail forms the lamp handle. He has two
horns, pointed ears and the lower body of a goat.
This figurative lamp is finely modeled with the expressive face of Pan and with the
incised details, including the hairy goat legs.
