Greek Hellenistic core formed blue and white glass alabastron
2nd - 1st century BC.
H. 12.95 cm. (5 1/8 in)
Condition: Upper neck and rim restored, otherwise complete.

The piriform alabastron with conical base, cylindrical neck, flaring rim and two small green glass folded handles. The body in deep blue glass with white glass trailing wound in a festoon pattern and then spirally around the neck and lower body.
