Roman bluish green glass double balsamarium.
4th – 5th century AD.

The balsamarium’s body is made of twin cylindrical tubes of bluish green glass, with flaring rims folded inward, and with flat base. Two side handles rising from the upper part of the body, attached to the rim and continue over it to create an upper basket handle. The middle part of the body is decorated with a blue-green spiral glass trailing which changes to a zig zag trailing decoration in the lower part.
