Egyptian bronze figure of Khonsu.
Late Dynastic Period: 8th - 4th century BC.
Height: 17.5 cm. (6 7/8 in.)
Very Fine, missing scepters and upper part of the crown. Fine green and red patina. Mounted.

Khonsu, God of Moon, is seated, wearing the moon crescent crown with an Ibis, on top of the royal wig, and the royal beard. He wears a short skirt, and both his hands were holding scepters. His feet rest on a square integral base.
Khonsu with an Ibis is known as Khonsu Djeuti.
