Roman light purple glass bottle with white glass spiral thread and trefoil rim.
1st century AD
H. 10.45 cm (4 1/8 in.)
Missing part of thread around neck, otherwise perfect.

The bottle with squat globular  body, tapering cylindrical neck, and trefoil flaring rim.
The body decorated with spiral white glass thread, from the center of the base to the neck.

 A rare combination of form, rim, and ornament.
