Canaanite bronze axe head of ???Lugged Chisel?? type.
Middle Bronze IIB: 1750-1550 BC.

Perfect condition. Fine reddish brown patina.

The axe head of “Lugged Chisel” type with long tapering blade, widening at the front sharp edge, concave oblong socket at the rear, and hook bending towards the blade bellow the socket. Fine decorative ridges along the upper and lower contour of the axe.
