Roman clear glass jar with two handles.
3rd ??? 4th century AD.
H. 6.51 cm (2 9/16 in.)
Intact.

Sold



The jar with squat globular body, short cylindrical neck and flaring folded rim. Two uneven handles applied from the body to the rim with a fold above the rim. The body and neck decorated with swirling pinched parallel ribbing.

Rare combination of shape and ornament.
