Roman light blue glass bottle with ribbed body and trailed neck.
4th ??? 6th century AD.
H. 19.3 cm (7 5/8 in.)
Missing minor part of trailing, otherwise perfect. Fine silvery patina.

The bottle with piriform body with concave base, elongated cylindrical neck widening from its central part, and rounded rim.
The body is decorated with a set of vertical ribbing bordered on the lower part by a circular one. Glass trailing spirally wound around wider part of the neck.
Outstanding vessel with rare combination of color, ribbing and trailing.
