The head of Dionysus is finely sculptured with elongated face and long neck. He wears a diadem around his central parted long hair with the wavy curls, which falls on both sides of his neck. The face with arched eyebrows, almond shaped eyes, straight nose, full sensual lips, full chicks and rounded chin.
This sculpture is a fine example of the Hellenistic Alexandrian style: alive, sensual and full of charm.
