Early Roman blue glass ribbed bowl.
Late 1st century BC ??? mid 1st century AD.
D. 13.6 cm. (5 3/8 in.), H. 6.7 cm (2 5/8 in.)
Repaired two large fragments, chip at the rim.
Ex. English collection, 1980???s.

The mold-made bowl with hemispherical body with slightly concave base and rounded polished rim.
The body is decorated with a closely set of protruding vertical ribs. A concentric inner groove cut near bottom of the body.
