Roman bluish-green glass amphoriskos with molded body and twin deep turquoise glass handles.
4th century AD

Rim repaired, otherwise perfect. Fine silvery iridescence.

The piriform body is molded with deep vertical indentations and diagonal fine ribbing. Cylindrical neck and flaring rim. The rim with applied spiral glass trailing. Twin deep-turquoise glass pair of handles applied from neck to shoulder, over glass ring of the same color at the neck. A glass disc of the same color forms the base.
